Important Notice:

• Neighboring Construction: Please be aware that the neighboring property is under construction. You may experience significant noise between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Check-In & Check-Out Times:

General Rules:

• Maximum Occupancy: The apartment is designed for a maximum of 5 guests. Any additions must be pre-arranged with the host.
• Guests Only: The apartment is for registered guests only. No additional friends or family for dinners or gatherings.
• No Parties: Parties or large gatherings are strictly prohibited.
• Pets: No pets are allowed on the premises.
• Smoking & Vaping: Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind is permitted inside the apartment, or on the deck, balcony, and rooftop.
• Commercial Activities: Commercial photography or filming is not allowed without prior approval.
• Noise Level: Maintain low noise levels after 10:00 PM to respect other residents.
• Towels & Clothing: Do not hang towels or clothing on verandas.

Common Areas:

• Storage: Rental bikes, baby strollers, and luggage storage are not permitted in hallways.

Maintenance:

• Malfunctions: If something in the apartment isn't working, please contact us immediately for prompt resolution.

Waste Management:

• Garbage: Dispose of garbage in the green bins located in the town square in front of the apartment.
• Recycling: Place recyclable items in the red bins located in the town square in front of the apartment.

Security Cameras:

• Building Cameras: There are two security cameras for the building. One is at the front entrance, and the second is at the top of the stairs.
• Balcony Camera: We have a camera on the balcony used to monitor weather conditions for maintenance, as we live on the mainland. This also allows us to appreciate our beautiful home in Puerto Rico.

  • Operation: Plug in the cord at the rear of the apartment by the deck box. This will aerate the water.
  • Note: Please unplug the power when done. The cistern is not meant to be constantly powered.

• Deck Box Water: If there's no power, you'll find emergency water stored in the rear deck box.

  • Access: Cut the zip tie.
  • Contents: Drinking water and big jugs suitable for flushing toilets.

4. Next x Yale Lock Battery Replacement

• Device: We use a Next x Yale lock.
• Battery Replacement:
  1. Unlock the Door: Ensure the door is unlocked.
  2. Remove the Cover:
     • Locate the small hole at the bottom of the lock on the interior side of the door.
     • Insert a small tool or pin into this hole to release the back cover.
     • Lift the cover off the lock.
  3. Replace the Batteries:
     • Remove the old AA batteries.
     • Insert the new AA batteries. Check orientation (positive and negative ends).
     • Use alkaline AA batteries from reputable brands for best results.
  4. Test the Lock: Test the lock to ensure the new batteries are working.
  5. Re-attach the Cover: Line up and press the back cover back into place.
  6. Monitor for Alerts: Change batteries when you receive a low battery warning.
